Salerno, 56 people under investigation for drug trafficking and criminal association: they attempt to introduce and use cell phones in the city prison.

The State Police and the Penitentiary Police are executing an order for the application of precautionary measures issued by the GIP of the Court of Salerno, at the request of the local District Anti-Mafia Directorate, against 56 subjects investigated in various capacities for association aimed at drug trafficking and for criminal association aimed at the introduction and use of mobile phones in prison, as well as for numerous crimes relating to the aforementioned criminal associations, events which occurred within the Salerno prison.
