Rome, Law enforcement agencies active throughout the capital to ensure compliance with anti-COVID regulations

Rome, As decided at the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security and confirmed at the Technical Roundtable chaired by Police Commissioner Esposito, targeted control services are planned for this weekend aimed at ensuring compliance with the legislation currently in force in matter of combating the spread of the Covid – 19 virus.
Not only the city center, such as the Pincio and Ponte Milvio, but also the areas of the Roman coast, green areas and parks will be under observation.
Some control posts have already been established this morning on the main road arteries, including Pontina, Laurentina, Aurelia and Appia where patrols of the State Police, the Carabinieri, the Financial Police and the Roma Capitale Local Police are also carrying out monitoring services at in order to detect any critical issues.
Similar services will continue tomorrow too.
