Rome, drugs in the capital: checks throughout the city, 10 pushers arrested.

The activity of the State Police continues unabated Rome for the prevention and repression of crimes relating to the possession and dealing of narcotic substances. Dedicated checks in all areas of the Capital, which see the synergistic collaboration of the men of the Districts and Commissariats with the specialized sections of the Flying Squad.

In any case, all the suspects are to be considered presumed innocent, in consideration of the current phase of the proceedings, i.e. that of the preliminary investigations, until a definitive finding of guilt with an irrevocable sentence.

Romanina I

An important operation was carried out by the Romanina police station where the agents, starting from some investigative clues, arrived at the identification of the home, in via Franco Becci, of a 37-year-old man suspected of being a local pusher. Investigators were stationed at the scene waiting for possible buyers. In fact, taking advantage of this ruse, they managed to stop the man at the door just as he was trying to give up some drugs.

In his home the police found 116 wraps of cocaine weighing 66,35 grams as well as 1.920 euros, probable proceeds of the illicit activity. After the arrest was validated, the man was subjected to house arrest.

Romanina II

And again the men of the Romanina police station, following an investigative activity, arrested a 30-year-old in the area of ​​competence who was traveling on an electric scooter for the occasional delivery of narcotics in the surrounding areas of via Torre Morena.

The boy, after being followed, was caught exchanging narcotic substances with the driver of a car. Upon initial inspection he attempted to escape only to be immediately blocked and arrested. Following the search, approximately 5 grams of cocaine, multiple materials for packaging and weighing individual doses, accounting notes and the sum of €2.100 were found.

The arrest was validated.

The noodles

The officers of the III District Fidene Serpentara, while passing through via Gino Cervi, noticed a girl who was stopping along the road in a suspicious manner and who, at the sight of the police car, quickly changed direction and entered the parking lot of a commercial business. When the 29-year-old Roman woman was checked, she handed the officers 46 cellophane wrappers containing 42 grams of cocaine and 330 euros in cash. Arrest validated.

Monteverde

The policemen of the XII Monteverde District instead arrested a 24-year-old Georgian citizen after he was stopped in the street and found in possession of 45,50 grams of hashish. The officers noticed him while he was wandering around suspiciously in a car in Via di Donna Olimpia.

Following the check, in addition to the drugs, numerous tools suitable for burglary such as metal plates, pliers, gloves, a key with evidently modified European mapping and sheets of abrasive paper were found in the rear trunk. In addition to the crime relating to drugs, the man was accused of unjustified possession of altered keys or lock picks. Once the arrest was confirmed, the man was sentenced to 2 years in prison and a fine of 4000 euros.

Esquiline

Following a targeted investigative activity, the officers of the Esquilino police station arrested a 50-year-old Italian citizen. Having learned of some details, in particular the type of car used by him, the investigators began to follow him, "hooking up" the 50-year-old in via delle Galline Bianche. After a brief tailing, he was stopped in the act of giving drugs to a buyer. In total, 11,4 grams of cocaine and 770 euros were seized.

The arrest was validated.

Four arrests in San Lorenzo

Maxi operation by the San Lorenzo police station which in three different circumstances arrested 4 people on serious suspicion of possession of narcotic substances.

The first operation was completed with the arrest, in via degli Enotri, of a 58-year-old who, after a brief tail, was stopped in via dei Frentani precisely in the act of giving drugs to a buyer. The subsequent house search led to the discovery, inside the cupboard in the kitchen and in a bathroom cabinet, of 5 wrappers containing approximately 290 grams of hashish, 2 wrappers containing 30 grams of cocaine and 3 wrappers containing 14 grams of marijuana as well as a precision scale and the sum of 6550 euros in cash inside a jar. After the validation of the arrest, the man was placed under house arrest.

The second arrested is a 31-year-old Roman who, during an investigative activity, was found in possession of a few grams of cocaine and hashish hidden in the house. Arrest validated. The last 2 arrested are two Romans aged 22 and 29 who, during a control activity by the agents of the San Lorenzo and Esquilino police station, were caught in the act of drug dealing. A few grams of cocaine and 645 euros in cash were seized.

After the arrest was validated, the 22-year-old was sentenced to 6 months in prison and a 1000 euro fine while the 29-year-old was sentenced to 4 months in prison and an 800 euro fine.

Porta Maggiore

The Porta Maggiore police station arrested, in execution of the provision for the revocation of the decree suspending the execution order for the imprisonment and reinstatement of the same order issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Ordinary Court of Tempio Pausania-Criminal Enforcement Office, a 34-year-old Nigerian years. The same person taken to prison will have to serve 2 years and 8 months in prison for drug crimes.
