Rome, drugs in the capital: 9 people arrested, drugs and 4 thousand euros seized.

The activity of the Police Headquarters continues unabated Rome aimed at combating drug dealing, with dedicated services throughout the territory. In recent days, 9 people have been arrested, over 500 grams of narcotics and 4 thousand euros have been seized.

In any case, all suspects who fall within the preliminary investigation phase of the proceedings are to be considered presumed innocent, until a definitive finding of guilt with an irrevocable sentence.

Via del Politeama

Following a service aimed at combating the phenomenon of drug dealing, the agents of the 1st District Trevi Campo Marzio, while passing through via del Politeama, noticed the presence of two subjects conversing with each other, one of these was inside a vehicle.

After the other subject also entered the passenger compartment, the policemen saw the driver give something to the other in exchange for money and so they decided to intervene. The personal and vehicular search of the man, a 34-year-old Italian, allowed the discovery of 16,2 grams of cocaine and 2.665 euros. Arrested, after validation he was ordered to reside in the municipality of Rome and subjected to the obligation to sign.

Casilino

The agents of the VI Casilino District, however, on the basis of previous investigative activity and reports received from residents, carried out, together with the FARO drug-sniffing dog, a house search at the home of a 27-year-old Italian man having reason to believe that he was dealing drugs . Following the search, approximately 94 grams of cocaine, material for packaging the narcotic and the sum of 350 euros in cash were found.

The arrest was validated and the precautionary measure of the obligation to report to the Judicial Police was applied to the young man.

As part of the constant judicial police activity, the agents of the VI Casilino District arrested in flagrante a man and a woman both 34 years old found in possession of 147 grams of hashish, 17,40 grams of cocaine and 765 euros in cash. Following validation of the arrest, both were placed under house arrest.

Tor Carbone

The officers of the VIII Tor Carbone District arrested a 28-year-old Italian man burdened by numerous police records and subjected to the obligation to report to the PG at the Rome-Eur CC Station. The police, having reason to believe that the man was addicted to drug dealing, carried out a house search inside his apartment, finding approximately 134 grams of hashish. Following validation of the arrest, the Preliminary Investigation Judge ordered the man to be placed under precautionary house arrest.

Via Valsugana

In via Valsugana, officers from the San Lorenzo police station arrested a 36-year-old Roman man for possession for the purposes of dealing who, after being stopped for inspection on board his car, was found in possession of approximately 21 grams of cocaine. Shortly afterwards, again following a check, the police arrested a 47-year-old Italian in via Radicofani who was found in possession of 30 grams of cocaine and 320 euros in cash in his car. Following validation of the arrest, the 36-year-old was ordered to report to the police while the 47-year-old was banned from staying in the municipality of Rome.

The arrests of the Flying Section

The officers of the Flying Section arrested a 28-year-old Italian stopped while he was selling narcotic substances in exchange for 20 euros. Following a personal search he was found in possession of 4,51 grams of cocaine. The arrest was validated and the man was placed under house arrest.

The officers of the Volanti section also arrested a 52-year-old Italian woman in via dell'Archeologia who was seriously suspected of the crime of possession of a narcotic substance for the purpose of dealing. In particular, the policemen, while passing through via dell'Archeologia, noticed a group of boys who, at the sight of them, disappeared along the galleries, while shouting they warned of the presence of the police. Some of those boys had been seen in other circumstances in the company of the 52-year-old and the search of the woman's home allowed 100 grams of cocaine to be found.

Following validation of the arrest, the measure of precautionary custody in prison was ordered for her.

Yet another arrest

Finally, the officers of the Velletri police station carried out an order for the application of a personal precautionary measure against a 36-year-old Italian addicted to dealing narcotic substances such as hashish and cocaine.
