Rome, 10 arrests for robbery, theft, weapons, possession and dealing of drugs and escape

The checks by the State Police do not stop and in the last 24 hours they have made several arrests for various disputed crimes

Rome, continues its anti-crime activity regarding predatory crimes and drug dealing by the State Police and in the last 24 hours 10 people have been arrested.
Early afternoon yesterday the men of the III Fidene Serpentara District arrested, for aggravated robbery, a 22-year-old Cuban who, taking advantage of the distraction of some ladies sitting outside a bar in via Val Maggia, he stole a bag with personal effects inside. The stolen goods were immediately handed over to an accomplice in an attempt to mislead the victims who, however, having noticed what had happened, managed, despite the reaction of the 22-year-old who attacked them, to call the police and have her arrested. Investigations continue to identify the accomplice.
And always for aggravated robbery, the agents of the Villa Glori police station, in via della Foce dell'Aniene, arrested a 36-year-old Roman man after he attacked his partner, a Ukrainian citizen, stealing a valuable bag from her. After the victim's report, searches by the police led to the identification of the 36-year-old at his workplace while the stolen goods were found at his home.
The agents of the Spinaceto police station arrested a 25-year-old and a 27-year-old, both Roman, who entered a business in Viale degli Eroi di Cefalonia and removed a black box containing around 250 euros in cash. Buy the description about the clothing, the two subjects were tracked down and stopped by the officers near another commercial establishment. At the time of the inspection, the two, without an identity document, provided false personal details as they admitted once they arrived at the police station. During the personal search, the 27-year-old was found in possession of 150 euros in cash, a sum that was seized. The two were arrested for aggravated theft and making false statements about their identity.
During a territorial control service aimed in particular at controlling "green passes" for access to public transport, the officers of the Romanina police station arrested a 37-year-old Roman man, who, having been placed under house arrest following a previous escape, left the home without providing the officers with a valid justification. The man was once again placed under house arrest.

The State Police pay constant attention to drug dealing:
in the Tor Bella Monaca area, with different operating methods, 2 people were arrested. The first, a 24 year old Roman, was caught on the street while selling cocaine to some drug addicts; a few grams of the same narcotic were seized. The arrest was made by investigators from the VI Casilino District. The same personnel also carried out the arrest of a 54-year-old, already known to the police, who was hiding a stolen gun, more than 5kg of hashish, a few grams of cocaine and everything needed to package individual doses in his house.
In the Montesacro district, the officers of the Esquilino police station arrested a 20-year-old while selling cocaine in a sedan. The drugs were hidden in a cleverly modified tube of glue. The arrest was validated by the Court of Rome during the relevant hearing held the day following the arrest.
Further arrests in flagrante for the crime of drug dealing were carried out by the staff of the Flying Section against a 19 year old Roman and a 43 year old Egyptian.
In particular, the first, following a check in via Collepasso, was found in possession of 4 wrappers of hashish and, subsequently, during the house searches, a further 500 grams of hashish were found as well as a precision scale and material for packaging the doses.
The 43 year old instead, with a police record, was checked in via Pian Due Torri e found in possession of a few grams of hashish and cocaine and 50 euros in cash. Furthermore, a further 43 grams of hashish and 950 euros in cash were seized from his home.
