Rome, flees when the police stop and rams the police car.

The agents of the IX Exhibition District, during the control of the territory, last Tuesday, on Abebe Bikila Street, they noticed a suspicious car stopped with two people on board, in front of the goods unloading of a shopping centre.

The police immediately checked the license plate of the car, which turned out to be stolen. Determined to stop it, they ordered the driver to stop. At that point, the passenger, after getting out of the vehicle, is fled and disappeared without a trace, while the other attempted to escape by ramming the police car.

Blocked after a short chase, the man, a 36 year old Chilean citizen was found in possession of numerous goods reported stolen and a walkie-talkie used to communicate with his accomplices. From subsequent investigations it emerged that there was an arrest warrant issued against the arrested person by the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic, at the Court of Appeal of Rome, having to the same atones 7 years and 3 months of imprisonment for a combination of concurrent sentences for crimes against the person and against property.

The 36-year-old also reported because he was seriously suspected of the crimes of receiving stolen goods and resisting a Public Official, at the end of the investigations, he was accompanied to the Rebibbia prison.
