Pozzallo: he tries to rape his cousin, a 28-year-old from Ispica ends up under house arrest. 

The city of Pozzallo was the protagonist of a new episode of violence against a young woman. The absurd story, this time, has as its protagonists an attacker and a victim united by a kinship bond. The girl was near the port area of ​​Pozzallo when a young 28-year-old from Ispicia, her cousin, thought of physically attacking her to have sexual intercourse with her.

Fortunately, the unfortunate woman's quick reaction prevented the violence from developing in a more secluded area of ​​the city, given the man's attempt to force her into his car.

The young woman's courageous soul allowed her to make the attacker desist.

In fact, the man attempted to commit violence on the spot, tearing her clothes and trying in every way to have a sexual approach with her which, fortunately, was only partially successful, given the courage that the girl showed in own.

Her desperate cries attracted the attention of a couple of passers-by who were passing through those streets in their car and who, seeing the girl half-naked and in obvious danger, intervened, allowing the girl to take shelter from the the attacker, momentarily distracted by the spouses. The unfortunate young woman was immediately accompanied to the Pozzallo barracks, where she was welcomed and listened to by specialized personnel.

The military deemed it appropriate to have her receive the necessary medical treatment immediately, first at the local health center, then at the Modica hospital, and for which she received a 10-day prognosis, given the injuries sustained, the abrasions and scratches, consequences of the scuffle with the man.

The umpteenth violence in the Pozzallo area triggered the special device of the Carabinieri, which is why all the available information material was collected, including the medical reports of the hospitals involved, the photographic assessments of the violence suffered, and then proceed to seize the clothes torn from the victim during the attack.

Having systematized these findings, the Station requested the Public Prosecutor's Office of Ragusa to issue an appropriate precautionary measure, which was not long in coming, so much so that house arrest was ordered for yet another perpetrator of violence that has once again shaken the seaside city.
