Piacenza, state police, federfarma, federconsumatori and national state police association together against scams for the elderly

Piacenza, in recent months the Prefect of Piacenza Daniela Lupo and the Mayor of Piacenza Patrizia Barbieri signed a project to combat and prevent fraud on the elderly, commissioned by the Ministry of the Interior.
The Police Commissioner Filippo Guglielmino and the president of the Order of Pharmacists of Piacenza Roberto Laneri therefore planned, with the support of Federconsumatori and the National Association of State Police of our city, the distribution of the "Watch out for scammers" brochures which, in in the next few days, through Federfarma's destruction channels, they will be delivered to all pharmacies in the city and province, available to all citizens.
The information material, now in its fifth edition and created with the contribution of the Piacenza and Vigevano Foundation, will help our elderly, but not only, to identify the deceptive intentions of those who, taking advantage of the good faith of others, only want to complete his criminal intent.
"Watch out for scammers", therefore, and do not hesitate to contact the police in case of suspicion regarding people who, with the most diverse methods, want to enrich themselves by deceiving citizens.
