Pesaro: two Romanian subjects belonging to an armed gang identified

The checks revealed that one of the two was the recipient of a European arrest warrant.

Pesaro. During the late evening of Friday 17 November, State Police personnel on duty in the Flying Squad and the Flying Squad of the Pesaro and Urbino Police Headquarters, during the carrying out extraordinary territorial control services aimed at combating groups dedicated to committing crimes against property, identified two subjects of Romanian nationality they had in use a vehicle subject to investigative attention.
The two young men were arrived in Italy only a few days ago and, as soon as they entered the province of Pesaro, they were immediately identified and accompanied to the police station for investigations.

Precisely from these checks it emerged that one of the two was the recipient of a European arrest warrant issued by France, because it was suspected of belong to an armed gang dedicated to the commission of predatory crimes. The boy was immediately arrested and placed at the disposal ofJudicial authority for delivery procedures to the requesting State.

The investigations carried out so far have made it possible to ascertain that both subjects belong to a large delinquent group, composed by both men and women, dedicated to the commission of numerous crimes against property, specialized in thefts with dexterity (in particular with the so-called hug technique) and in thefts committed using frequency jammers (so-called jammers), which prevent the vehicles from locking.
They have been toacquire information, photos, objects and documents being examined by investigators to verify involvement in crimes committed in the province and throughout the national territory.
