Pavia, steals cell phone on the "Freccia Rossa": arrested by the Railway Police

Pavia, yesterday a 32-year-old Tunisian citizen, convicted and illegal on the national territory, was arrested by the Pavia Railway Police for having committed a theft on board a "Red Arrow" train against a traveller.
The agents on surveillance duty in the Pavia station, alerted by the Polfer Operations Centre Milano of the presence of a thief on board the Freccia Rossa train, coming from Genoa Brignole and headed for Venice SL, upon the arrival of the railway convoy at Pavia station they intervened and arrested the perpetrator of the theft of a mobile phone against a traveler.
Subsequent investigations made it possible to find computer equipment, including a notebook, stolen from the passenger in the arrested person's backpack.
The recovered stolen goods were subsequently returned to the rightful owner, while the foreigner was accompanied to the security rooms of the Pavia Police Headquarters.
