The military of the Passo Corese Carabinieri station they proceeded toarrest in flagrante delicto of a 58-year-old local man, known to the police for some time, for the crime of illicit possession of weapons and narcotics.

The measure restricting personal freedom was carried out following a search carried out by the military inside the aforementioned man's home in execution of a specific decree issued by the Rieti Judicial Authority.

During these operations, they were found three shotguns illegally detained, as they were never reported, of which the man had, among other things, failed to hand over following the notification, which took place during 2021, of a prefectural decree with which he was prohibited from detaining, for any reason , weapons.

Furthermore, on the same occasion, the military found three grams of this type of narcotic substance hashish.

For these reasons, the man was immediately arrested and, after the necessary formalities, subjected to arrest at his home.

The weapons and narcotics were subjected to criminal seizure.

It is acknowledged, as usual, that the criminal proceedings are still in the preliminary investigation phase and that any criminal liability will be assessed by the Judicial Authority.
