Orosei, armed robbery in a supermarket: arrested by the Carabinieri. 

At the end of intense and complex investigations, supported in the investigative and executive phase by the soldiers of the Heliported Hunters Squadron of Sardinia and the Abbasanta Dog Unit, at dawn on 20 April, the Carabinieri of the NOR-Operational Unit of the Siniscola Company they arrested a 22-year-old in execution of a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Nuoro.

According to what emerged from the investigative activity, on February 20th, having arrived in the hamlet of La Caletta di Siniscola (NU) by bus, disguised himself with a balaclava and changed his clothes, the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at the cashier of a local supermarket, ordering her to hand over the proceeds and threatening the numerous customers present not to alert the police. Having taken possession of approximately 285 euros in cash, he then disappeared first on foot and then in the car of an unsuspecting relative., which was passing nearby, managing to throw off the searches carried out by the Police Force.

The arrested person, who is charged with the crimes of aggravated robbery as well as illegal possession and carrying of a common firearm, was associated with the Nuoro district house.

The criminal proceedings against the suspect are still pending in the preliminary investigation phase and his actual responsibility will be examined during the subsequent trial, where further investigative and evidentiary developments, including in his favor, cannot be ruled out.
