On Friday afternoon, as part of the intensification of crime prevention and repression activities ordered by the Provincial Command, the Carabinieri of the Oristano Company carried out a coordinated wide-ranging service of extraordinary control of the territory and specific police operations for the prevention and the repression of illicit drug trafficking, especially among young people, on the communication arteries of the capital and in the municipalities of the province, also focusing on some peripheral and little-frequented areas.

In Siamanna (OR), the military assisted by the Dog Unit of the Helicopter Carabinieri Squadron “Hunters
Sardinia" have reported a man in a state of freedom to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Oristano for detention for the purpose of trafficking of narcotic substances (Art. 73 DPR 309/90) and illegal possession of weapons and ammunition (ART. 697 CP). 48-year-old and a 37-year-old local woman, both already known to the police, who were subjected to house and car search available, they were found in possession of a total of 28 grams of marijuana, 1,2 grams of Cocaine, divided into doses, a precision scale and various material for packaging the narcotic in doses as well as n. 50 cal. cartridges 22nd n. 5 12 cal cartridges held without title.
