Oristano, Torre Grande will have its own cycle path.
The City of Oristano awarded the design of the Torre Grande cycle path to the temporary group of professionals formed by the engineers Riccardo Auteri and Narciso Piras, the architect Valerio Montieri, the geologist Valentino Demurtas and the agronomist Federico Corona.
The group presented the most economically advantageous offer with a score of 100/100 and a discount on the economic offer of 42,10% for an amount of 71 thousand euros.
A connection between the village of Torre Grande and the tourist port
“The project, which falls within the framework of the urban regeneration programme, will have to include the creation of a cycle-pedestrian axis connecting the village of Torre Grande and the tourist port, in continuity with the path on the Lungomare Eleonora d'Arborea – specifies the Councilor for Public Works Simone Prevete -“.
“The project aims to complete the regeneration process of the seaside resort of Torre Grande, responding to the objective of enhancing the natural areas present in the area, creating paths of use for pedestrians and bicycles. In particular - he concludes - it is planned to create a cycle/pedestrian path, car parks, public lighting, underground services and green works on Via Millelire, from Villa Baldino towards the marina".
A two million euro project
The project is configured as a functional lot of a general project, in continuity and completion of two interventions under construction financed under the Territorial Development Project Framework Program Agreement "Journey to the Land of the Giants".
One million 874 thousand euros are ready for the implementation of the intervention. The National Recovery and Resilience Plan provides one million 800 thousand euros.
