Olbia, the Carabinieri of the Operational Section of the Territorial Department of Olbia, during an operation aimed at repressing drug dealing, arrested a 28 year old and his 43 year old partner, both with police records, for detention in drug dealing purposes.
The military had been carrying out observation services in the area of Via Galvani for some time, having heard of a sales activity in the area involving a couple, surprising the two cohabitants as soon as they left their home, with a sachet of 100 gr. . of marijuana.
The Carabinieri therefore decided to carry out a house search, which allowed them to find a total quantity of 14,300 kg of marijuana in all rooms of the apartment, divided into 30 packets weighing between 100 g. and approximately 2 kg and a precision scale.
The Judicial Authority has ordered house arrest, awaiting validation.
