Novara was already in the sights of the Flying Squad agents: arrested for possession of more than 600g of narcotics.
The Novara State Police, in the context of specific services aimed at repressing crimes relating to drug trafficking, arrested an Albanian citizen resident in Trecate (NO) on May 16th for drug trafficking.
The suspect, already known for numerous criminal precedents for drug-related crimes, was noticed during a monitoring activity passing by in a car by the Flying Squad officers, who therefore decided to carry out a targeted check.
The officers then ordered the Albanian citizen to stop the vehicle. The latter, however, got out of the car and tried to escape.
The officers managed to stop the man and proceeded to search both his person and his vehicle. Inside the vehicle, narcotics were found, 500 grams of cocaine and more than 100 grams of marijuana plus packaging material.
Following the search, the judicial authority ordered that the suspect be held at the Novara prison.
