National Security: Two Suspected Extremists Arrested for Drug Dealing and Repatriated
They were repatriated with an extraordinary flight by the Guardia di Finanza, two illegal foreign citizens, expelled for reasons of national security, as they are presumed extremists and have already been reported by the competent authorities.
Classified as “level I suspects,” the two were arrested a few days ago for drug dealing and subsequently expelled by order of the Prefect of Rome. One of them is considered a radical extremist, while the other is close to a list of dangerous individuals, monitored in the context of prevention.
Both were entered the country illegally in 2024 through maritime routes and were involved in illicit activities on Italian territory. After repatriation, the two were handed over to the competent authorities of the destination country.
There have been 181 expulsions/removals, for reasons of national security, carried out from October 2022 to today.
