Naples, traffic police rescue 13-year-old on foot on the motorway
Naples, yesterday afternoon a patrol from the North Naples Road Police Subsection, while passing on the Capodichino branch of the A1 motorway towards Casoria, noticed a boy walking on the stretch where there is no emergency lane.
The patrol immediately adopted all the necessary precautions in order to safeguard the safety of the minor, originally from the province of Caserta, who, exhausted and thirsty, said that, alone, in the early afternoon, having to reach a friend residing in the province of Naples, after purchasing a train ticket, he boarded a regional train but due to distraction he did not get off at the right stop and arrived at the Central Station of Naples.
Having gotten off the train and not having money to buy a new train ticket, the young man, after having set the address of his friend on the navigator of his mobile phone, set off on foot following the directions that the navigator provided him, thus finding himself after about 90 minutes of walking on the highway where the cell phone had turned off due to the battery running out.
The police accompanied the minor to the offices of the Subsection of the North Naples Traffic Police where, after having refreshed and quenched his thirst, they contacted his parents, who arrived shortly after.
The boy returned home with his family who thanked the traffic police officers for having rescued their son and avoided more serious consequences.
