The Police arrested 7 people in Naples for robberies against post offices and banking agencies. The investigations, conducted by agents of the Flying Squad of the Naples Police Headquarters and the Portici-Ercolano police station, were started after a robbery carried out in the Ercolano post office.
And so - thanks to a series of investigations (the analysis of videos extracted from video surveillance systems and telephone and environmental interceptions) - the investigators managed to reconstruct the gang's organizational chart.
Attacks carried out between February last year and last February in some post offices in the provinces of Naples, Caserta and Salerno. But not only. Two bank branches also ended up in the robbers' sights, from which several hundred thousand euros were taken.

In the past, the man was already the recipient of a crime suspect arrest issued by the Naples District Attorney's Office and carried out in April 2022 by the Naples Flying Squad and the Naples Carabinieri Ros, as a suspect, together with five others people, for various reasons, of theft and receiving stolen goods very precious painting reproducing the icon of the Blessing Christ, Better known as “Salvator Mundi”, attributed to the School of Leonardo Da Vinci, dating back to the 16th century.
Furthermore, on 15 February last, he had evaded the execution order issued by the Benevento Prosecutor's Office after the revocation of his house detention ordered by the Surveillance Court of Naples, having to serve the remaining sentence of 25 years and 4 months in prison. He was tracked down last March 22nd in Casoria (NA) by Flying Squad agents.
