Naples: those responsible for a robbery identified, already burdened by criminal records.
Naples. Yesterday morning, the PG and police officers of the Portici-Ercolano police station intervened in via Diaz for the report of a robbery taking place at thePortici Bellavista Post Office.
On the way to the target it was reported that the car in which the robbers had arrived it could have been white and one of them was wearing a green sweatshirt.
The steering wheel operators, who arrived near thePost office, they had seen a car leaving the adjacent alley Fiat 500X white color with a foreign license plate whose driver, having noticed the presence of the policemen, had attempted to run them over and thus escape via Diaz towards Piazza Poli.
In those circumstances, the PG patrol had positioned itself with the service car in front of the Fiat 500X on the run but the driver, with a risky maneuver, managed to get back on the road evading the arrest and continuing its mad rush towards the upper part of Portici; therefore, both patrols had chased the fugitives and ascertained that they had taken, in the opposite direction, via Gioacchino Cardano.
In order to cross paths with them again, the patrol in civilian clothes had arrived on the other side of the road and noticed that the robbers' car had been involved in a road accident and the occupants had abandoned the non-running vehicle.
Subsequently, the operators carried out careful searches of the three fugitives, both in the residential condominiums in the area, and in adjacent public garages and also thanks to the viewing of the images of video surveillance systems present in the area managed to trace all the streets and places of escape, identifying the place of concealment of the entire sum of money, removed from thePost office, for a total of just over 62 thousand euros.
In addition, thecareful inspection, carried out inside the abandoned car, allowed the discovery useful elements for investigation activities.
Again the policemen, through the vision of the images acquired by commercial establishments and garages, they managed to identify those responsible and, assuming that they could return to the place where the money was hidden, they set up a suitable surveillance service which allowed, on the same evening, the capture of the three suspects, already burdened by specific criminal records.
The intense investigations carried out, without interruption, have made it possible to acquire serious indications of guilt against those arrested, adopting the restrictive measure of the Arrested on suspicion of crime.
