Naples: Attacks passers-by and throws a man onto the rocks, 53-year-old arrested for attempted murder

The State Police arrested a 53-year-old Venezuelan for attempted murder and personal injury.

In particular, the agents of the UOPI (Prompt Intervention Operations Units) of the Campania Crime Prevention department, during the territorial control service, while passing through via Partenope, they noticed a man who was attacking some passers-by with violent kicks and punches, and then pushing a man, who at that moment was sitting on the seafront wall, causing him to fall onto the rocks below; the operators intervened immediately but the accused, not satisfied with the conduct carried out up to that moment and not caring about the intervention of the agents, he then threw a violent punch at another passerby, knocking him to the ground.

The police officers, after having promptly requested the intervention of 118 personnel, also thanks to the assistance of the agents of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, They reached and, with no small difficulty, blocked the man, ascertaining that he had started to swear and attack anyone who was in his path, without any reason.

The suspect, having arrived at the police station, repeated his violent behavior, threatening and attacking the officers several times. For this reason, he was arrested by the operating personnel.
