Naples: 57-year-old football team coach arrested for aggravated sexual assault, possession of child pornography and child pornography

On 24 September 2024, the Naples State Police executed the Ordinance implementing the precautionary measure of arrest, issued by the Court of Naples, against a 57 year old man for the crime of aggravated sexual violence, possession of a large quantity of child pornography and child pornography.

Following the complaint of a woman for alleged abuse suffered by her son, the Naples Flying Squad, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office - Section for gender violence and vulnerable groups, carried out complex investigative activities from which serious evidence of guilt emerged against the suspect, coach at a Neapolitan football school, accused of having committed the sexual abuse against one of his students, victim under fourteen years old, inside the premises of the sports centre frequented by the injured party.

Following searches, all the devices of the suspect were subjected to criminal seizure. The analysis of these devices revealed that, with multiple executive actions of the same criminal plan, the suspect distributed, disseminated and spread, selling to third parties large quantities of child pornography files that he had in his possession.
