Monza, the police close to the raped women

Women who are victims of mistreatment, continuous abuse and domestic violence, this is the worrying picture resulting from the in-depth analyzes conducted by the Monza State Police and which led to the issuing of specific prevention measures against the perpetrators of such conduct. The protagonists of the events were two men, MM and PA, aged 36 and 50 respectively, domiciled in Sesto San Giovanni and Monza and already known to the police because they were responsible for oppressive behavior towards their companions which resulted in injuries and physical attacks which determined arrests in the past. The Autonomous Prevention Measures Section of the Court of Milano accepting the proposals formulated by the Police Commissioner of Monza and Brianza, he recognized how the elements acquired against the two subjects were indicative of a concrete and current social danger and for this reason he ordered the application of Special Police Surveillance for both of them for the duration of one year with the prescription, among others, not to approach women while maintaining a distance from them and from the places they usually frequent of at least one kilometre. A little more than a year after the establishment of the Monza and Brianza Police Headquarters, the Division Anticrimine, by monitoring the trend of the crimes with the greatest social impact perpetrated in our province, proceeded with an initial analysis of the criminal phenomena present, trying to intervene incisively and as quickly as possible. Actively interfacing with the Flying Squad and the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, as well as with the Commands of the other Police Forces present in the area, which proved strategic due to their capillarity in the Province, the Police Commissioner issued approximately 210 - personal - Prevention Measures to combat those situations of social hardship often linked to petty crime. Specifically, 80 Oral Notices and 130 Mandatory Street Notices were notified with repatriation to the municipality of residence against subjects, Italians and foreigners, already known to the police for having committed crimes, in particular fraud, theft and drug trafficking, especially in the municipalities of Ceriano Laghetto and Limbiate included in the Groane Park consortium. Great attention, as already mentioned, was paid to the protection of victims of domestic and gender violence; thanks to the forced coexistence caused by the Sars - Covid 19 epidemic, after careful investigation, various requests were examined, especially from women who reported multiple verbal, physical and psychological attacks, which led to the issuing of no. 7 Warnings for Domestic Violence and 5 Warnings for Persecutory Acts (Stalking) as well as the formulation of no. 6 proposals for the imposition of the PS Special Surveillance measure on the Court of Milano, of which no. 3 have already been accepted and the remaining are being examined by the Judicial Authority.

Finally, considerable impetus was given to the DASpo tool. with the imposition of no. 16 provisions prohibiting access to sporting events, of which no. 3 against individuals who, on the occasion of the 1 Formula 2019 Grand Prix, were reported for touting and no. 13 against supporters of the Cantù and Fortitudo Bologna basketball teams for the clashes that occurred in Desio in November 2019
