Mogliano: craftsman defrauded by a 30 year old from the province of Bergamo with no fixed abode through “marketplace”.

The Carabinieri Station of Mogliano, commanded by Marshal Marcello Bragagnolo, within a few days, reported to the Judicial Authority another person who was responsible for the fraud perpetrated against a local craftsman.

In July 2024, the craftsman attracted by the advertisement for the sale of a “mini excavator” published by a company in Spoleto, on the e-commerce platform “marketplace”, contacts the company through the users indicated in the same advertisement.

After the negotiation for the purchase of the means of work, which took place with the so-called employee of the Spoleto company, the craftsman paid, via bank transfer, the sum of € 1.301,00, as a deposit, while the balance was to be paid upon delivery of the means of work, which never happened also because the so-called seller was unavailable.

The computer, telematic and banking investigations carried out by the military have allowed them to identify a 30-year-old, homeless woman from Bergamo who, using a "false profile" of the Spoleto company, unfortunately deceived the craftsman.
