Modica (RG), escapes from house arrest despite the bracelet. 23-year-old arrested by the Carabinieri.

The Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Modica Company, during the morning of last Friday, executed a precautionary measure order in prison, issued by the Judge for Preliminary Investigations of the Court of Ragusa, against a well-known criminal in the area of the County, a 23-year-old, single, homeless and unemployed.

The young man, subjected to the house arrest regime after attempting to commit another crime, despite the application of the electronic bracelet, was found to be particularly reluctant to comply with the established requirements.

It is no coincidence that, several times, during the checks carried out by the Aliquota Radiomobile of Modica, the interested party was not present at his temporary home, forcing the operators to go looking for him, diverting them from the ordinary institute service. In fact, even yesterday, the military had to carry out various interventions because the subject of operational interest had tampered with the electronic bracelet that had previously been applied to him.

Due to the numerous evasions, the Operational and Radiomobile Unit has requested the Judicial Authority to aggravate the measure of house arrest, in order to bring the subject to justice. Reason why, following the ritual formalities, the arrested person was transferred to the Ragusa prison.

The frequent checks by the military personnel of the subjects subjected to the house arrest regime, with the aim of verifying compliance with the established provisions, made it possible to bring to justice a subject who has aroused particular fear among citizens in recent months.
