Modena. Two brothers of Moroccan origin aged 28 and 30 have been arrested for cocaine trafficking.
A detailed investigation by the local police has documented thousands of drug sales in three years. Half a kilo of substances, 50 thousand euros and two cars were seized.
In compliance with the residence permit and well integrated into the city fabric, with regular employment in a city business. But for the two brothers of Moroccan nationality, aged 28 and 30, in recent days, on 2 April, the local police of Modena executed the order of precautionary custody in prison issued by the Judge for the preliminary investigations of the Court on 27 March because they were seriously suspected of the crime of supplying narcotic substances.
The investigation, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office and conducted by the Territorial Problems Unit of the local police, made it possible to document thousands of drug sales over three years and to seize a total of around half a kilogram of substances such as cocaine, hashish and marijuana, as well as 50 thousand euros of money, presumably proceeds from drug dealing activities, and two vehicles used for the illicit activity.
The exchanges, based on what emerged from the investigations, took place in very crowded or particularly isolated places, where the two suspects arranged to meet their selected clients and reached them by car., customers that the two alleged drug dealers did not hesitate to contact directly to urge them to purchase, if it happened that they had not heard from them for a while.
