After the arrest on 17 July, thanks to citizens' reports, a new intervention was carried out in a green area near the sports club.

They were “packaged” in an old sock placed under an abandoned refrigerator the over 44 grams of cocaine and hashish found by the local police of Modena on the morning of Thursday July 20 near the Corassori sports centre, in viale Newton: whoever had hidden them thought they had obviously found a good hiding place. But he hadn't taken into account the scent of the Pit drug sniffer dog. The action of the dog unit was fundamental, in fact, in recovering and seizing the narcotic substance in an intervention that followed the arrest that took place a few days earlier in the same area.
On the evening of Monday 17 July the operators of the Territory Problems Unit they had stopped a 19-year-old drug dealer, originally from Tunisia, after catching him while he was taking a dose; the operation, in which 16 grams of cocaine and hashish were also seized, was triggered following reports from residents who had informed the Via Galilei Command in relation to a suspicious coming and going of people. The activity continued in the following days, again thanks to the collaboration with the citizens and the managers of the sports center, and allowed the local police operators to find further drugs in a green area located behind the structure. This was also amazing ready for sale: in particular, these are 34 doses of cocaine, for a total of 17 grams, and 5 "sticks" of hashish, for a total of 27 grams. The substance was seized and made available to the judicial authorities.
