Milazzo (Massina), escapes from house arrest to go stealing: a 34-year-old arrested by the Carabinieri. 

The 34-year-old was under house arrest, caught driving a stolen car, arrested on charges of aggravated theft and escape.

The facts refer to the afternoon of May 23rd, when, under the coordination of the Operations Center of the Carabinieri Company of Milazzo, a patrol of soldiers from the Mela Peace Station managed to track down and block the woman while she was driving the car to be searched along a street in that center.

According to what was reconstructed by the Carabinieri, the suspect, after breaking down, damaging the electronic bracelet, went to Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto to steal the car on which she was identified and blocked.

Taken to the barracks under arrest, once the formal procedures were completed and the car was returned to its rightful owner, the arrested woman was transferred to the Messina Gazzi prison at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
