Marsciano, recruited compatriot workers to be exploited in a company: 24-year-old Pakistani arrested

The man was a guest of an extraordinary reception center and was recruiting compatriots and political asylum seekers to work in exploitative conditions for the benefit of the Chinese company. On 20 June the Chinese company manager was arrested for exploitation of illegal work and aiding and abetting illegal immigration.

The Carabinieri of the Marsciano station and the Labor Inspectorate Unit of Perugia have executed a custodial order in prison, upon request of the Spoleto Public Prosecutor's Office and issued by the Office of the Judge for Preliminary Investigations at that Court, against a 24 year old of Pakistani origin, domiciled inside the CAS (Extraordinary Reception Centre) of Fratta Todina (Perugia), held responsible for illicit intermediation and labor exploitation. The investigative activity, coordinated by the Spoleto Public Prosecutor's Office, made it possible to highlight the existence of serious indications of guilt against the man, investigated following the facts occurred in Marsciano (Perugia) last June 20nd, at a local company which saw a Chinese entrepreneur responsible for exploiting illegal labor arrested and aiding and abetting illegal immigration, col consequent seizure of two large warehouses with the industrial equipment and textile products inside ready for subsequent sale.

During the checks it was ascertained that the young manin as a "recruiter/intermediary" he had the specific task of recruiting compatriots and political asylum seekers, to be used for exploitative work for the benefit of the above-mentioned Chinese company.

Il 24enne, at the end of the ritual formalities, was associated with the Spoleto Prison at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.
