Mantua: Guardia di Finanza in schools for meetings on economic legality

The meetings of the Guardia di Finanza of Mantua continue, in schools, under the banner of economic legality, which principle of act according to the law and the rules, closely connected to the concept of Active and Responsible Citizenship, between civic values ​​and modern society.

These very fruitful meetings between Young People and Financial Officers, to involve Students in the "all-round" culture of security and economic legality, are part of a Protocol, at national level, between the Ministry of Education and Merit and the General Command of the Guardia di Finanza, with a programming, on the territory, in agreement between the Provincial School Office and the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza.

Introduction to the activities carried out by the Guardia di Finanza in the sector economic-financial, economic control of the territory – always ask for a receipt, first of all as a civic duty –, “Service 117”, fight against illegal activities and counterfeiting, fight against waste of public money, fight against crime and drugs, etc., the topics addressed, not least with a specific and dedicated focus, for the students of the fifth classes of the High Schools, relating to recruitment and training procedures in the Guardia di Finanza Corps.

This morning, it was the turn of the Higher Institute “Bonomi Mazzolari” of Mantua, where over fifty students, together with some of their teachers, met with the Colonel Antonello Cefalo, Provincial Commander of the Guardia di Finanza of Mantua, who arrived in August last year and with the Lieutenant Arianna Laudoni, Commander of the Territorial Operations Unit of the Corps, stationed in Mantua, arrived in the summer, coming from the Academy at the end of the five-year course of studies and training.

The questions formulated by the students allowed us to establish, right from the start, a constructive dialogue, which involved all those present, contributing to spread and strengthen the value of economic legality, in the new generations, with a sort of specific, practical and interactive laboratory: from the series Students for an hour also “Financial Workers”.

Other moments of comparison and initiatives of the kind, like these, will continue, aimed at to disseminate the strong link between security, economic legality and justice, to protect the interests of citizens.

The Guardia di Finanza continues to be very attentive to the involvement of the Children and to the comparison with the youngest, thanking, for the planning of the species, as Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Mantua, the Provincial School Office, the School Institute, Teachers and Students.
