Longiano (Forlì-Cesena), the Carabinieri chase and report a young motorcyclist
A few evenings ago, a patrol of the Carabinieri from the Cesenatico Radiomobile Unit intervened near the industrial area of Longiano, where the presence of numerous young people riding motorcycles had been reported, some of whom were performing maneuvers that were dangerous for their safety and that of others.
Arrived on site the soldiers noticed a young man arriving at high speed on a motorcycle without a license plate, who was speeding through the many young people present. Despite the soldiers' order to "STOP", he did not stop, but rather accelerated further, zigzagging dangerously between cars and trying to escape control at the risk of causing an accident with other vehicles on the road.
The military - in order to prevent him from causing damage or endangering the safety of other road users - immediately started chasing him and, after fleeing for a few minutes, managed to catch up with him and stop him. Escorted to the barracks offices and identified, the young man, an 18 year old, was reported for resisting a public official and fined for several violations of the highway code, while the vehicle was subjected to administrative seizure.
