On the orders of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Livorno, the Carabinieri of the Labronico Provincial Command have executed a precautionary custody order in prison against a man, born in '69, already burdened by specific precedents, seriously suspected of being the perpetrator of the robbery against the Pellini pharmacy, located in this via Grande, which occurred on 21 February.
Livorno, 54-year-old criminal arrested, seriously suspected of being the perpetrator of the robbery that took place on 21 February against a pharmacy in Via Grande.
On February 21, a robber entered the pharmacy with his face distorted by a balaclava and, after having violently beaten the two pharmacists present, had 2.500 euros contained in the cash delivered to him.
The immediate investigations of the Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Livorno Company started from the declarations of the victims, whose accurate descriptions made it possible to direct the investigative activity, supported by the images of the video surveillance systems of the pharmacy and those of public facilities and private individuals present in the area, whose analysis made it possible
to reconstruct all the phases of the crime and the movements of the alleged perpetrator even before and after the fact.
The significant evidential elements collected were reported to the Deputy Public Prosecutor of Livorno, holder of the file who, agreeing with the investigative findings, requested and obtained the issuance of the restrictive measure whose execution was hindered by the fact that the recipient was de facto homeless.
At the end of intense searches, the soldiers of the Livorno Company identified the 54-year-old in the center of Pisa and arrested him with the collaboration of colleagues from the local Company.
Once the ritual formalities were completed, the arrested person was associated with the Pisan prison.
Since these are preliminary investigations, everything must then be verified in the judgment aimed at ascertaining the man's criminal responsibility.
