Lecco: Extraordinary checks of the territory, 60 people identified and 24 vehicles checked

In Lecco, a extraordinary territorial control service aimed at strengthening the perception of safety and preventing the commission of any criminal act, especially in some urban areas most affected by the presence of young people.

The service, coordinated by the State Police, saw the use of personnel from the Flying Squad of the Police Headquarters, supported by patrols from the Crime Prevention Unit of Milano and the Lecco Highway Police Section, as well as by personnel from the Railway Police. Careful checks were carried out in various areas of the city centre, in particular in the station area, in via Volta, in via Cavour, in Piazza Diaz, as well as on the lakeside and 3 checkpoints.

During the service 60 people were identified and 24 vehicles were checked.

A subject was found driving a vehicle without insurance coverage, which is why the pecuniary sanction for the violation of art. 193 CdS, with related administrative seizure of the vehicle, carried out by personnel of the Lecco Highway Police.
