Latina: the commitment of the State Police in "High Impact" operations in the city's neighborhoods continues. 203 people identified.

The State Police of Latina, yesterday, 6 February 2024, once again coordinated a specific extraordinary inter-force service aimed at guaranteeing a lasting effect of deterrence and repression of criminal conduct in this capital, also on the basis of a growing social demand for security from citizens.

The patrols of the State Police - Flying Squad, Traffic Police and Lazio Crime Prevention Department - in agreement with the Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, Provincial Police and Local Police crews carried out specific territorial control activities in the Q4 and Q5 districts.

On this occasion, the men and women of the State Police carried out numerous checkpoints which allowed them to identify 203 people, of which one was reported to the administrative authority pursuant to art. 75 Presidential Decree 309/1990, for possession of narcotic substances for personal use and 10 foreigners.

142 vehicles were also checked, which resulted in 10 charges for violations of the Highway Code, including a vehicle subjected to administrative detention and a license withdrawn pursuant to art. 186 of the Highway Code, against a person found driving a motorbike while intoxicated.

This operation, conducted in full synergy by the various police forces, within the framework of the coordinated activities carried out under the aegis of the Prefecture of Latina, aims to carry out a more targeted and in-depth control of the territory, combing entire neighborhoods of the capital.
