Latina: couple attacks and robs an elderly woman, both arrested by the police.

On the evening of Wednesday July 19, personnel from the Police Station of Terracina (LT) made the arrest in the act of committing the crime of SL, 29 years old of Albanian origin, and RA, 34 years old domiciled in the province of Rome, both returned responsible for theft with aggravated snatching in competition, and the latter also for personal injury and resistance to a public official. After a while, police personnel in cover clothes and cars identified the suspects, while in the city center they were most likely identifying another victim. The woman, who also in this case was waiting in the car, was stopped immediately, while the man was caught and blocked near the entrance of a residence.

The woman immediately took on oppositional behavior aimed at escaping police control. She resisted vigorously, scratching and kicking one of the police officers who suffered personal injuries. However, the subsequent search did not allow her to get rid of the stolen goods, which were found in her possession, as well as a switchblade, kept inside the bag, together with other blunt objects and approximately 5 grams of crack hidden in the clothes he was wearing. Subsequent investigations made it possible to ascertain that the car in the couple's possession was not their property, but had been rented in Anzio and only for a few days. The two subjects, already known to the Police Force, were therefore arrested in the act of committing the crime while the woman was also reported to the administrative authority as a drug user and her driving license was therefore withdrawn. In agreement with the magistrate on duty at the Public Prosecutor's Office of Latina, the arrested people were confined to their homes awaiting the validation and direct rite scheduled for today's morning, which ended with the validation of the arrest.
