The Police Chief of Isernia, after having already ordered, pursuant to art. 100 TULPS, the suspension of the license, for the duration of 10 days, of the bar where the aforementioned fight broke out, and also having adopted 16 prohibitions on access to urban areas (DACUR) for all correspondents, issued, on the proposal of the DIGOS, the provisions in question in order to protect public order and safety.

The episode involved two groups made up of numerous people, some of whom already had specific criminal records and measures Ban on attending sporting events (DASPO)What ignited the tension was a verbal clash between two young people, for trivial reasons, which took place inside the club, which is very popular with the youth of Venafran. The fight degenerated inducing many other boys, friends of the respective sides, to face each other.

The two factions – composed, respectively, by local residents (including some individuals linked to the organised Venafro fan base) and by citizens of North African origin – they opposed each other outside the commercial establishment with throwing of objects and wooden sticks, then giving himself to sudden escape through the surrounding streets. The brawl was taken by passers-by and the images were spread on social media, causing particular alarm among residents, also due to the bar's central location.

This particular type of DASPO (cd out of context), which was applied for the first time in the province of Isernia, is addressed to people who have made themselves responsible for serious crimes, carried out outside the sporting context, with the aim of preventing them from reproducing the same illicit or violent conduct, even inside stadiums or in places where sporting events take place, where similar behaviour could entail serious risks for public order and safety.

The duration of the ban on access to places where sporting events take place has been set in a year and it's relating to all national and international sports, series and categories, friendly matches, as well as all other sporting events.
