IT tilt, CrowdStrike close to an automatic solution

Microsoft is also releasing a recovery tool

IT tilt, CrowdStrike close to an automatic solution.

Crowdstrike would be close to implementing one automatic solution after global IT tilt last Friday.

And also Microsoft, which estimated 8,5 million devices impacted, is releasing one recovery tool to help repair Windows machines affected by the buggy CrowdStrike update.

Secondo The Guardian, CrowdStrike has told the Australian government it is close to a solution that would automatically bring systems back online.

After the global outage on July 19 for a software update, the company has indeed released a stopgap solution but not an automatic one, it must be done manually on a machine-by-machine basis.

According to the English newspaper, the Australian Home Secretary, Clare O'Neil, has had contact with the American security company which has reassured them of this solution. But O'Neil argues that «It will take some time before all affected sectors are fully back online, in some cases we may experience teething problems for a week or two».
