Identified, near the Medici fortress of Grosseto, are the boys aged between 12 and 15 who on the afternoon of Sunday 12 March once again threw stones from the Medici Walls towards the playground in via Ximenes, at that time frequented by families and children.

The situation was reported by the parents present to the Municipal Police who promptly called in a patrol from the Proximity Service, already on duty on the city walls with officers in uniform and plain clothes.
Thanks also to the vision of the video surveillance system, it was finally possible to certify the incident and trace the individual responsibilities.
Following the incident, the Proximity Department of the Municipal Police is evaluating further measures to prevent possible new episodes.
“Once again the Municipal Police team has proven to be ready and efficient in intervening and the video surveillance service a fundamental support tool – declare the mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna and the security councilor Riccardo Megale – So that similar events do not happen again , it is important to make our children understand the gravity, the senselessness and above all the danger of such acts, which can have serious repercussions on others".
