Grosseto, the Municipal Police intervenes again at "I Crespi", soon to be the new construction site.

After the surgery a few days ago in the abandoned building in the “Crespi” area, this morning the Municipal Police of Grosseto intervened in the building again in order to return the property, freed from unauthorized persons, to the company that purchased it.

The intervention, It started at 10am and ended at around 12pm with the accompaniment of seven illegal people in the premises of the municipality for their identification and the consequent referral to the Judicial Authority for the crime of “Invasion of land or buildings” referred to in article 633 CP and for them, illegal on the territory of the State, repatriation procedures have been initiated.

The property was therefore returned to the current owner who will have to immediately begin the reclamation of the construction site through the removal of waste and the mowing of uncultivated vegetation, in addition to construction sites also in order to avoid new abusive intrusions.

Grosseto, la Polizia Municipale interviene nuovamente a "I Crespi", presto il nuovo cantiere.

“During the activity,” explains commander Alessio Pasquini – “which was followed by a cleanup of the outside of the building by the canine units supplied to the Municipal Police, no critical issues arose nor were any narcotic substances found; however, in various circumstances it was necessary to resort to the work of workers made available by the property to open some doors and windows blocked from the inside. The activity also led to the discovery of about ten bicycles carried in the Municipality premises as found objects and made available to those entitled to them."

“Our municipality intervened following further reports from residents on the hypothesis that the premises were used as a place for dealing or possession of narcotic substances” – add the mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna and the safety councilor Riccardo Megale. “Fortunately, from this point of view nothing has emerged,” – the mayor and councilor continue – “except that the place is used as a refuge by some illegal immigrants who were later identified.

As has already occurred in other situations, it is clear that the synergy of interventions between the Administration and the owners can be the key to resolving certain critical issues: as highlighted by Commander Pasquini, whom we thank as well as his agents for the usual speed of intervention, various measures may be implemented by the new ownership to prevent access to the premises during construction works on the structure, in order to avoid the repetition of use even just as a bivouac by subjects more or less dedicated to illicit activities".
