Genoa: He pretends to be a municipal employee to get an apartment and deceives 3 women into prostitution, 66-year-old reported

The State Police has identified, following a complex investigation by the Sestri Ponente Police Station, a brothel, reporting a 66-year-old Genoese man for renting a house for the purpose of running a house of prostitution, as well as for ideological falsehood committed by a private individual in a public deed and usurpation of titles and three Chinese women, aged 50, 52 and 57, for illegal entry and residence in the territory of the State.

The investigations by the Sestri Ponente Police Station began at the beginning of October, following a report from some citizens regarding an anomalous coming and going of men inside an apartment in the area.

Having positioned themselves near the indicated number, The operators immediately noticed three men coming and going in the apartment, about half an hour apart. One of them, stopped at the exit, admitted to having paid for sex with a Chinese woman he had met through a “massage” ad on a dating site.

The check carried out inside the apartment allowed us to ascertain that inside there were three women, wearing only underwear, all illegal in Italy and for this reason reported to the Judicial Authority. In the house were found 425 euros in cash, presumably proceeds of the prostitution activity.

From the investigation activity of the agents it emerged that the women, being undocumented, turned to the 66-year-old Genoese as an intermediary in order to rent the apartment. The reconstruction made it possible to ascertain that the man, in 2023, in exchange for a large sum of money, had rented the house as a resident, handing it over to the three women and that to increase his credibility with the landlord, he had passed himself off as a municipal employee by showing false pay slips.

The man tracked down in recent days has been reported for the crimes listed above, furthermore, since there are reasonable grounds to believe that he habitually lives with the proceeds of criminal activities and that he is dedicated to the commission of crimes that offend or endanger public safety, the Police Chief of Genoa has issued against him the preventive measure of the Oral Warning, inviting him to maintain a conduct in accordance with the Law, with the warning that, if he does not change his conduct, a proposal for a more restrictive preventive measure will be made against him.
