Gaggio Montano (Bologna): The Carabinieri of the Gaggio Montano station carried out the provision of the precautionary measure of the ban on approaching the offended person and the places frequented by the same, against a 43-year-old foreign worker, already known to the police, accused of the crime of mistreatment against family members or cohabitants.

The provision, requested by the Ordinary Court of Bologna, Section of Judges for Preliminary Investigations, originates from the complaint filed by a 26 year old foreigner, who went to the Carabinieri following yet another violent argument with her ex-partner. The woman, in her complaint, told the military that she had started a relationship with the 43-year-old in 2023 and had been living with him since the beginning. This coexistence, however, proved problematic from the beginning, due to the man's violent behavior, often dictated by the abuse of narcotic and alcoholic substances.

The 26-year-old was subjected to continuous physical abuse by her ex-partner, in this case preventing her from leaving the house, eating in the living room and habitually hitting her with slaps and punches in the face, all this despite the fact that she was pregnant. . The man in question, after being tracked down by the Carabinieri, was subjected to the precautionary measure issued by the judge.
