Forlì, weekend checks: 3 licenses withdrawn and 119 points cut, 9 caught driving without wearing seatbelts
Forlì, 3 licenses withdrawn and 119 points subtracted are the balance of the activity carried out last weekend by the Forlì Traffic Police, which monitored the main road and motorway arteries of the Province affected by the first movements to and from holiday destinations.
15 rescue operations were carried out, the majority due to mechanical failures. The checks led to the arrest of, among other things, 9 people driving without their seat belts fastened and 4 while using their mobile phones.
On Friday night, in particular, a 22-year-old from Rimini was reported by the Forlì Subsection for driving while intoxicated. The officers were sifting through the vehicles exiting the A/14 in Rimini Sud when their attention was attracted by a Fiat 500 with uncertain progress. When he got out of the vehicle, from his alcoholic breath and shining eyes they immediately understood that the driver had drunk too much: in fact the breathalyzer found his blood alcohol level of 1,49 g/l, almost triple the legal limit. For the man, in addition to the complaint, his driving license was revoked.
