He is held responsible for the robbery committed, in collaboration with other subjects, all of whom had already been arrested, against two armored vehicles of the Ferrari srl which were transporting jewels from the Bulgari brand, part of the Heritage collection, with a total value of over 4 million euros .
The robbery took place along the access ramp of the Monza-Rho provincial road on 15 October 2016.
The policemen of the Central Operational Service of Rome and of the Flying Squads of Foggia and Bari, in collaboration with the Puglia Traffic Police Department and with the “Northern Puglia” Crime Prevention Department, found him in the same public housing complex where his family resides. family, in the apartment of a relative, also with numerous police records, arrested for the crime of personal aiding and abetting.
The wanted man, as ascertained by the investigators, had taken refuge in the aforementioned apartment for a few days, as he intended to spend the Easter holidays with his family.
Over 60 State Police officers were involved in the operation who, after having cordoned off the condominium area of the Torricelli district where the fugitive was hiding, guarded 3 entire condominiums, from the cellars to the terraces, in order to preclude the wanted man from any means of escape. leak.
An identity card not attributable to either of the two arrested men was found and seized inside the apartment, probably used by the fugitive to hinder the searches of the police.
