Crotone, drug bazaar discovered: a couple arrested.

In recent days, i Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Wing of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Cirò Marina Company, during a pre-arranged patrol, carried out as part of the services to combat the phenomenon of the spread of narcotic substances throughout the province, arranged by the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Crotone, they checked, at their home, located in an area of ​​Cirò Marina already reported several times by residents for the alleged drug dealing activity towards local young people, LD, 33 year old, worker, and AE, 22 year old, looking for of employment.

During the activity, the soldiers carried out a thorough search at their home, finding them, cleverly hidden inside a kitchen cabinet and bedroom bedside cabinet, just under 84,00 (eighty-four/00) grams of "cocaine" in 3 (three) different wrappers, 560,00 (five hundred and sixty/00) grams of "marijuana" in 6 (six) packages, one hundred seeds of "cannabis indica", material suitable for packaging the aforementioned substances for subsequent sale in the squares of Cirota and neighboring municipalities, as well as 2 (two) unbranded precision digital electronic scales.

Immediately taken to the barracks for the continuation of the ritual investigations, LD and AE, due to the investigative findings acquired, were arrested for “detention for the purpose of drug dealing in competition”, taken to their home under "house arrest" and, yesterday, at the end of the Validation Hearing, subjected again to the aforementioned precautionary measure, pending the trial.

The seized drug, on which the appropriate product checks will be carried out to establish the quantity of "active ingredient", would have yielded no less than 10.000,00 (ten thousand/00) Euros.
