Cremona, the PS Commissariat of Crema has implemented the precautionary measure of removal from the family home and the ban on approaching frequented places by the offended person, against a 34-year-old Romanian citizen residing in Crema who was responsible for the crimes provided for by articles 572 (Mistreatment in the family) and 582 of the criminal code (Personal injuries) against his cohabiting partner, a 42-year-old Moldavian woman.

The provision was issued at the end of a complex and targeted investigative activity carried out by the police station following the complaint presented by the woman who presented herself at these offices and reported that she had been subjected to mistreatment for some years by her partner who was often suffering from the effects of alcohol abuse.

The illicit behavior consisting of physical, psychological and economic violence generated a well-founded fear in the victim for his own safety, forcing him to change his home and modify his lifestyle. The victim, after having suffered violence from her partner for years, exasperated by the situation and understanding that she would not be resolved but on the contrary would become increasingly worse, decided to turn to the State Police for help. The escalation occurred one evening at the beginning of June in which the suspect was waiting for the woman on the public road outside her workplace and after having tried in vain to convince her to get back together, he began to threaten her and hit her. with punches and slaps.

The investigations carried out by this Office made it possible to acquire elements proving the responsibilities of the suspect in the events in question; the planned procedure called "CODE RED" was activated which allowed the AG to quickly issue the precautionary measure of removal from the family home and a ban on approaching places frequented by the offended person. Given the crescendo of conduct carried out by the suspect, which is increasingly serious and dangerous, it is believed that the restrictive measure has avoided further criminal acts to the detriment of the woman.
