Como, there are almost 80 thousand euros on the truck, but the driver doesn't know where they come from: reported for receiving stolen goods.
A haulier has been reported for money laundering by the Como State Police. Yesterday afternoon on the A9, a patrol of the local traffic police proceeded to check an articulated lorry with an Albanian license plate and the driver began to show nervousness.
Suspicious of this behavior, the officers accompanied him to the Brogeda customs office and, together with personnel from the Guardia di Finanza, carried out a personal search, which was then also extended to the vehicle.
Right inside the cabin, divided into several "vacuum-packed" packages, the sum of 79.600 euros was found, of which the driver was unable to justify either the possession or the origin.
The haulier was then investigated for money laundering while the money, the vehicle and his mobile phone were seized.
