Castellammare del Golfo, steals 100 euros from a car, withdraws 250 euros from a stolen credit card and steals a car left abandoned: under house arrest 35 year old from Alcamo. 

The Carabinieri of the Castellammare del Golfo station arrested, in execution of a precautionary custody order under house arrest, a man from Alcamo born in 88 for the crimes of aggravated theft and improper use of a credit card.

Today's provision, issued by the GIP of the Court of Trapani, arises from a detailed investigation carried out by the Carabinieri. Serious indications of guilt have emerged on the 35-year-old in relation to a series of car thefts reported in recent days by local citizens.

From the investigations carried out by the Carabinieri through the viewing of images extrapolated from video surveillance systems and from the examination of some witnesses, the man is allegedly responsible for: a theft from a car of an ATM card which he would later use to withdraw the sum of 250 euros at an ATM in the city centre; of a car theft of the sum of 100 euros in cash; and the theft of a car, which occurred on 23 April, which was later found abandoned in an isolated area of ​​the town and returned by the Carabinieri to the complainant.

The man, who at the time of the events had been promptly reported by the Castellammare military for those crimes, is today arrested and placed under house arrest with an electronic bracelet.
