Caserta, cocaine and hashish trafficking: 3 arrests, other searches underway

Caserta, today, personnel of the State Police - Flying Squad of Caserta, with the support of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, of the PS Commissariats of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Marcianise, "San Paolo" of Naples and Spoleto, carried out an order for the application of coercive measures, issued on 07.06.2021 by the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere - Office of the Judge for Preliminary Investigations, against five people seriously suspected of the crimes of possession and dealing of narcotic substances such as cocaine and hashish, in competition, consumed between the Municipalities of Santa Maria Capua Vetere and Capua.
The measures were issued at the conclusion of a detailed investigation and telephone and environmental interceptions and video recordings, corroborated by intensive OCP (Observation, Control and Stalking) services as well as the hiring of people informed of the facts.
The investigations originated from a search of a young man resident in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, who was found in possession of 5 grams of cocaine and a precision scale, hidden under the cash register inside the restaurant he owned.
Through the analysis of the cell phone of the young man reported, it was possible to glean a series of telephone numbers relating to individuals who, in the San Marino area, dedicated themselves to drug dealing.
Subsequently, through technical interception activity, it was possible to crystallize numerous drug sales to local consumers and to identify one of the drug suppliers, resident in the Neapolitan area.
The investigation allowed us to identify n. 12 subjects responsible for a plurality of sales of narcotic substances, which occurred in the years 2018-2019 in the area of ​​Santa Maria Capua Vetere, in favor of local young people.
Given the serious circumstantial framework collected, this Public Prosecutor's Office requested and obtained precautionary measures from the GIP Office of the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
This morning, at dawn, the restrictive measure was carried out, as reported above, against 5 suspects.
In particular, the recipients of the measure are:

  • MAIORIELLO Massimo (born 1988) against whom precautionary custody was ordered
    prison;
  • CAMMISA Nicola (born 1992) and AGLIARULO Vincenzo (born 1960), against whom house arrest was ordered;
  • MAIORIELLO Bruno (born 1959); CARNEVALE Donato (born 1970), in whose regards the obligation to report to the Judicial Police was ordered.

At the same time as the execution, further personal and local searches were delegated and carried out in the territories of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Capua (CE), San Prisco (CE) and Melito di Napoli (NA), in the
against 7 other people, investigated in a state of freedom.
