Casale Monferrato, fine of 1.500 for the felling of stumps remaining in the forest during a silvicultural intervention

Casale Monferrato, the Carabinieri of the local forestry station have ascertained the damage to stumps in a coppice forest in Frassinello, which occurred during the execution of some silvicultural interventions, which were also carried out without authorisation. The felling of the plants took place using a tracked excavator equipped with a mulcher instead of traditional cutting tools, with the consequent damage to all the stumps remaining in the forest. Therefore, those responsible were charged with the violations provided for by current legislation, with administrative sanctions of approximately 1.500 euros.
