Carlentini: the Carabinieri arrest mother and son for drug dealing and receiving stolen goods.
The Carabinieri of the Carlentini station, assisted by a dog unit from Nicolosi (CT), arrested a 34-year-old local woman and her son on serious suspicion of detention for the purposes of drug dealing and receiving stolen goods.
During a search of their home, approximately 200 grams of marijuana were found, partly divided into pre-packaged doses, and 2 grams of cocaine.
Furthermore, under a pillow, the sum of approximately 2500 euros was found, believed to be proceeds from drug dealing, as well as packaging and weighing material.
In another room, lying on a double bed, 2 televisions were found which, from subsequent investigations, were found to be the subject of the recent theft which occurred at the "DVD mania" household appliances store in Carlentini.
The arrested people, after the ritual formalities, were restricted to the prison awaiting the direct ritual, as ordered by the judicial authority.
The narcotic substance will be examined to establish its exact active ingredient.
